Elitzur Ramla held off Maccabi R.Hen and spurred ahead in the series. The game without a history. Elitzur Ramla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Maccabi Ramat Hen's 34. Elitzur Ramla forced 19 Maccabi Ramat Hen turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led the winners and scored 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Tamara James (178-84, college: Miami, FL) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. Elitzur Ramla's coach Adan Inbar felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Karima Christmas (182-89, college: Duke) came up with 30 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Ashley Shields (180-85, college: SW Tenn.St.CC) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Maccabi Ramat Hen in the defeat.
