Tallina U. advanced into the quarterfinal stage beating LU for the second straight time. The game without a history. Tallina U. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Latvijas Universitate to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 48.4 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Tallina U. forced 24 Latvijas Universitate turnovers and had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Latvijas Universitate's players. Estonian guard Oksana Miil (172-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Estonian guard Pirgit Puu (168-88) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Four Tallina U. players scored in double figures. Latvijas Universitate's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
