Regular Season Round 3: Los Mochis - Nogales 75-68

There was no surprise when Fuerza Guinda Nogales (0-4) were defeated on the road by Pioneros Los Mochis (2-2) 75-68 on Tuesday. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard William Funn (188-82, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Taylor King (203-88, college: Concordia Irvine, agency: Elite Talent Exchange) helped adding 22 points and 19 rebounds. Worth to mention Funn played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. The best for the losing side was swingman O'Louis McCullough (198-82, college: Francis Marion) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Eric Tisby (173-88, college: Sioux Falls) scored 13 points and 6 assists. Four Fuerza Guinda Nogales players scored in double figures. Fuerza Guinda Nogales' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pioneros Los Mochis will again meet at home Fuerza Guinda Nogales (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fuerza Guinda Nogales will have a break next round.
