Semi-Finals Game 3: 36ers - Tigers 102-63

Adelaide will play in the NBA Finals. They trashed visiting Melbourne in the decisive third game of the semifinal series. The game without a history. Adelaide 36ers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Melbourne Tigers' 22. They outrebounded Melbourne Tigers 49-36 including 34 on the defensive glass. Adelaide 36ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Melbourne Tigers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) helped adding 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Tommy Greer (200-83, college: Nova SE) with 9 points and forward Lucas Walker (202-84, college: St.Mary's, CA) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
