Schio reached the semis after the cruised past Orvieto away from home. The game was mostly controlled by Familia Schio. Orvieto was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Familia Schio dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Orvieto's 28. Familia Schio forced 22 Orvieto turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Orvieto's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Erlana Larkins (185-86, college: N.Carolina) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). French center Elodie Godin (191-85) chipped in 17 points and 4 steals. Four Familia Schio players scored in double figures. American swingman Darxia Morris (172-89, college: UCLA, agency: Merit Management Group) produced 27 points and 4 steals and forward Azzurra Gaglio (183-89) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
