Wisla Krakow edged Energa Torun at home court to open the semifinal series. The game without a history. Wisla Krakow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Energa Torun's 24. They outrebounded Energa Torun 42-28 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian center Zane Teilane-Tamane (200-83, college: W.Illinois, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Wisla Krakow's coach Stefan Svitek felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian center Jelena Velinovic (193-81, agency: Promotex) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Weronika Idczak (174-89) added 7 points and 5 steals in the effort for Energa Torun.
