Quarter-Finals Round 5: Boras - LF Basket 88-81

Boras held off LF Basket in the decisive fifth game of the quarterfinal series and reached the semis. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But LF Basket won third quarter 30-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Boras Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. American point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds. American point guard Keith McLeod (190-79, college: Bowling Green) responded with 20 points and 7 assists and the former international center Johan Akesson (210-84, agency: Warren Sports International) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Boras Basket and five LF Basket players scored in double figures.
