Iskra Svit outgunned Prievizda on the road in the opening game of the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Iskra Svit. Prievidza managed to win third quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) stepped up and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Latvian forward Martins Berkis (198-85, agency: TSS Management) chipped in 15 points. At the losing side American point guard Corey Jefferson (181-85, college: Texas St.) responded with 25 points and Danish guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds.
