Semi-Finals Game 1: Ammerud Bskt - Asker Aliens 73-72

Ammerud Basket snatched a narrow victory over Asker Aliens and advanced into the BLNO Final. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-72. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ronald Timus (196-84, college: Morgan St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Mookie Rivelino (193, college: Quincy) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Rivelino is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Ammerud Bskt's coach Kelvin Woods used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and guard Anders Stien (195-90) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Asker Aliens. Five Asker Aliens players scored in double figures.
