Semi-Finals Game 2: Inter Bratislava - Rieker KN 91-76

Inter handed the second straight loss to Rieker Komarno in Bratislava. The game was mostly controlled by Inter Bratislava. Rieker KN was better in fourth quarter 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Rieker KN's 34. They outrebounded Rieker KN 39-23 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Inter Bratislava players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Rieker KN's players. The former international power forward Martin Rancik (206-78, college: Iowa St.) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and Czech center Ondrej Starosta (215-79) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by Slovenian forward Sinisa Bilic (201-89) did not help to save the game for Rieker KN. Serbian guard Krsto Bjelica (192-88) added 15 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
