Toyota A. held off Denso Iris in the opening game of the semifinal series. The game without a history. Toyota A. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Toyota A. forced 23 Denso Iris turnovers and outrebounded them 87-76 including 52 on the offensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 24 long-distance shots on high 55.8 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Toyota A. made 202 blocks. 40 personal fouls committed by Denso Iris helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
