KR fired past Stjarnan away from home to take 2-0 lead. The game without a history. KR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 Stjarnan turnovers. KR players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. International Martin Hermannsson (192-94) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward Junior Hairston (203-84, college: Towson, agency: KMG Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks and international point guard Justin Shouse (181-81, college: Mercyhurst) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
