Very expected game when 12th ranked Reggio Calabr. (12-15) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Ravenna (14-13) 89-77. The game was mostly controlled by Ravenna. Reggio Calabr. was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for power forward Francesco Amoni (201-84) who helped to win the game recording 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Ravenna players scored in double figures. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Augustin Fabi (199-91) replied with 23 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Diego Monaldi (184-93, agency: Players Group) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Reggio Calabr.Newly promoted Ravenna maintains eighth position with 14-13 record. Reggio Calabr. lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 15 games lost. Ravenna's next round opponent will be Barese (#15) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Reggio Calabr. will play against P.Mantovana and hope to win that game.
