Tsmoki-Minsk fired past Olimpia on the road and knotted things up in the semifinal series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Olimpia GrGAU won third quarter 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Tsmoki-Minsk won last quarter 20-15. The best player for the winners was American forward Kristen Morris (190-87, college: LSU) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Zhanna Horodetskaya (181-79) chipped in 12 points. American center Chanita Jordan (196-87, college: Bowie St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds and Russian-Ukrainian center Lyubov Alyoshkina (203-81) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Olimpia GrGAU players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
