Atletico Echague held off Monte Hermoso Basket in the decisive fifth game of the series. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. MH Basket was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Fabian Elias Saad (190-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Forward Pablo Fernandez (198-82) contributed with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American Gregory Lewis (200-78, college: Winthrop) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and swingman Eduardo Calvelli (196-82) added 20 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) in the effort for MH Basket. Four MH Basket players scored in double figures.
