Finals Game 1: Elitzur Ramla - Maccabi Ashdod 71-84

Maccabi Ashdod celebrated victory in the first game of D1 Finals. They upset Elitzur Ramla on the road. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Ashdod. Elitzur Ramla managed to win third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Ashdod made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Power forward Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!) for the winners and forward Tiffany Jackson (191-85, college: Texas) chipped in 21 points and 16 rebounds. At the losing side guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Tamara James (178-84, college: Miami, FL) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
