Date: April 8, 2014
Rather expected game in Tallinn where 8th ranked Valga (6-26) was crushed by sixth ranked Tln Kalev (14-18) 86-64 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Tln Kalev. Valga was better in third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tln Kalev forced 20 Valga turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Ghanian-American Asenso Ampim (203-88, college: Columbia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) who added 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. Tln Kalev's coach Kalle Klandorf felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
