The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gran Canaria won third quarter 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Rivas Ecopolis won last quarter 20-17. Swedish guard Frida Eldebrink (174-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Vega Gimeno (185-91, college: Robert Morris, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Guard Yurena Diaz (178-93, agency: Regeneracom Sports) responded with 18 points and 5 assists and naturalized Senegalese center Astou Ndour (198-94) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds.
