Denso Iris upset Toyota Antelopes on the road and sealed their championship series ticket. The game without a history. Denso Iris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Toyota A. to just 6 points in second quarter. Denso Iris dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota A.'s 20 and made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Toyota A. 96-85 including 62 on the offensive glass. Denso Iris shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 64.0 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Denso Iris made 204 blocks. 35 personal fouls committed by Toyota A. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 21 rebounds. Guard Yasuko Itou (160-90) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Mika Kurihara (178-89) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Ryoko Yano (178-78) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds.
