MBA Moscow paved their way into the semifinal stage after they dropped Stroitel Engels in the capital. The hosts trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. MBA Moscow forced 21 Stroitiel Engels turnovers. 30 personal fouls committed by Stroitiel Engels helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for center Sergei Krasavtsev (208-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Alexander Tikhonin (205-92) helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Aleksandr Podosinnikov (200-85) with 19 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Anton Kopanev (205-86) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stroitiel Engels' coach Andrey Kobylinskiy rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
