Very important is a road loss of Rabotnicki (1-2) against Kumanovo 2009 (1-2) on Saturday night. Visiting Rabotnicki was defeated by Kumanovo 2009 in Kumanovo 87-77. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Kumanovo 2009 outrebounded Rabotnicki 35-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian swingman Vukasin Mandic (200-82) who led the winners and scored 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winning side. International swingman Marko Simonovski (192-89, agency: Interperformances) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian center Dusan Knezevic (207-80, agency: BeoExcell) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Rabotnicki in the defeat. Five Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. Rabotnicki's coach Emil Rajkovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kumanovo 2009 will meet Kozuv (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rabotnicki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje Lirija.
