Ciclista rallied past Union SF at home court to grab the first win in the series. The game without a history. Ciclista led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ciclista forced 23 Union SF turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Union SF's players. Union SF was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Bahamas forward Jamaal Douglas (198-85, college: E.Kentucky) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Naturalized Spanish point guard Jonathan Maldonado (188-90) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Forward Mauro Cosolito (195-88) replied with 15 points and point guard Leonardo Vildoza (180-94) added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for Union SF. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
