Quarter-Finals Round 1: Tarvas - Parnu 86-53

Tarvas ensured the winning start to their playoff campaign. They overcame visiting Parnu. It looked good early as KK Parnu took an 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BC Rakvere had a 28-8 second period charge getting the lead and KK Parnu was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 53-86. BC Rakvere dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to KK Parnu's 24. BC Rakvere forced 23 KK Parnu turnovers. KK Parnu was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian swingman Juris Umbrasko (197-79) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Giedrius Gustas (190-80, agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. International forward Toomas Raadik (201-90, agency: Promotex) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Janis Vahter (196-86) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for KK Parnu. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
