Quarter-Finals Round 2: Parnu - Tarvas 72-86
Date: April 15, 2014
Tarvas celebrated the second victory in a row against Parnu in the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by BC Rakvere. KK Parnu was better in second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by KK Parnu helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Lithuanian guard Giedrius Gustas (190-80, agency: Alti Sport) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the effort and international point guard Kristo Saage (187-85) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds by international forward Toomas Raadik (201-90, agency: Promotex) did not help to save the game for KK Parnu. Swingman Rannar Raap (188-92) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. KK Parnu's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest.
