GKS Tychy upset GTK Gliwice on the road to force the decisive third game in the title series. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Power forward Tomasz Bzdyra (200-83) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Marceli Dziemba (186-92) contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. GKS Tychy's coach Tomasz Jagielka allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Michal Nikiel (205-83) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Tomasz Wrobel (186-85) added 10 points and 6 assists in the effort for GTK Gliwice. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
