Quarter-Finals Round 1: TU/Rock - Valga 82-57

TU/Rock held off Valga to gain 1-0 lead in the quarterfinals. The game without a history. TU/Rock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TU/Rock outrebounded Valga 51-33 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian forward Vilmantas Dilys (208-87, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 13 rebounds. The former international Janar Talts (205-83) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Ferg Myrick (198-91, college: New Hampshire) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center Viljar Veski (215-86) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Valga.
