Vigarano overcame Catania on the road and advanced into Group B title series. The game was mostly controlled by Vigarano. Catania managed to win third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Vigarano won last quarter 22-14. Forward Eleonora Costi (180-83) notched 25 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Bosnian center Selma Delibasic (193-80) supported her with 17 points. Four Vigarano players scored in double figures. Even 30 points and 9 rebounds by Czech center Renata Brezinova (190-90) did not help to save the game for Catania. Guard Maria Buzzanca (171-76) added 18 points for the hosts.
