CCC Polkowice bounced back from the starting loss in the Finals and upset Wisla in Krakow today. The series now tied at 1-1 with the third game of the series scheduled for Wednesday. CCC Polkowice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Wisla Krakow to just 6 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Wisla Krakow 41-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Australian Belinda Snell (180-81) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. American center Janel McCarville (188-82, college: Minnesota) chipped in 8 points and 14 rebounds. American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) produced 18 points and the former international forward Justyna Zurowska (188-85) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts.
