The game in Slupsk was also quite interesting. Second ranked Stelmet ZG (24-7) played at the court of 6th ranked Energa Czarni (14-17). Stelmet ZG managed to secure a 4-point victory 77-73 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Energa Czarni. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-73. The former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) stepped up and scored 12 points and 7 assists for the winners and the former international swingman Przemyslaw Zamojski (193-86, college: Independence CC, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 13 points. Four Stelmet ZG players scored in double figures. Stelmet ZG's coach Mihailo Uvalin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American center Garrett Stutz (212-90, college: Wichita St.) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import Roderick Trice (190-84, college: S.Carolina) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Stelmet ZG have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion used an opportunity after PGE Turow lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position in Places 1-6. Loser Energa Czarni keeps the sixth place with 17 games lost. Stelmet ZG will face Rosa Radom (#5) at home in the next round. Energa Czarni will play against the league's leader PGE Turow in Zgorzelec and hope to win that game.
