Petrochemi celebrated the third consecutive victory over Zob Ahan and advanced into the championship series. The game without a history. Petrochimi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 6 rebounds. International point guard Mahdi Kamrani (186-82) helped adding 10 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Four Petrochimi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin-Serbian center Slavko Vranes (230-83, agency: Beo Basket) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the former international swingman Iman Zandi (188-81) scored 14 points.
