Semi-Finals Game 1: Burgos - Breogan 68-64

Burgos held off Breogan in the opener. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Leche Rio Breogan won third quarter 21-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Burgos won last quarter 16-13. Josep Ortega (201-84) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Austrian Anton Maresch (191-91, agency: Two Points) chipped in 8 points and 4 assists. Burgos' coach Andreu Casadevall used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side point guard Daniel Rodriguez (182-84) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Tyrus McGee (188-91, college: Iowa St.) scored 13 points. Four Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures.
