Limeira claimed the opening victory over Mogi das Cruzes in their quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Winner/Limeira. Mogi managed to win second period 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Winner/Limeira shot 64.2 percent from the field. They also forced 22 Mogi turnovers.
