Benfica upset Barcelos on the road to advance into the semifinal stage. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 18-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American forward Seth Doliboa (203-80, college: Wright St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Joao Gomes (201-85) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Benfica players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin forward Marko Loncovic (200-91) with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the former international point guard Nuno Oliveira (186-89) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds.
