Vigarano upset Min.Battipaglia on the road for 1-0 lead in the Finals. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Min.Battipaglia won fourth quarter 19-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Min.Battipaglia outrebounded Vigarano 45-33 including 30 on the defensive glass. Forward Eleonora Costi (180-83) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Valeria Zanoli (170-84) chipped in 18 points. At the losing side Dutch Kourtney Treffers (187-94, agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and power forward Elena Riccardi (187-82) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds.
