Champville prevailed against Al Riyadi to level the quarterfinal series. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 37-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Georgian point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists during the contest. Egyptian power forward Ahmad Ismail (205-76) responded with 6 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and international swingman Jean Abdel Nour (198-83) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Al Riyadi's coach Slobodan Subotic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
