Paulistano held off visiting Vivo/Franca in the quarterfinal series opener. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 46-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Paulistano made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game.
