Date: April 29, 2014
Kalev/Cramo got to the winning start of their semifinal series as they rallied past Tarvas. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. BC Rakvere managed to win third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kalev/Cramo shot 28 for 42 from the free-throw line, while BC Rakvere only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded BC Rakvere 53-31 including a 40-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. 33 personal fouls committed by BC Rakvere helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Curtis Millage (185-81, college: Arizona St.) fired 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Lithuanian guard Giedrius Gustas (190-80, agency: Alti Sport) produced 14 points and guard Mihkel Kurg (190-87) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Five Kalev/Cramo and four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
