Dinamo Tbilisi had little worries gaining the starting vicotry in the playoffs. They romped past Olimpi. Dinamo Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpi's 30. They outrebounded Olimpi 46-32 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dinamo Tbilisi looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Olimpi's players. American-Jamaican forward Keyon Carter (206-88, college: ODU, agency: Two Points) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Serbian forward Milos Pesic (205-84) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Dinamo Tbilisi players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Mikheil Chitashvili (193-84) responded with 17 points and international center Richard Matiashvili (207-89) scored 6 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
