Kutaisi held off Sokhumi to level the series at 1-1. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-70. Kutaisi looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international Akaki Dvalishvili (206-90) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Azerbaijani guard Zaur Pashayev (188-83) chipped in 22 points and 9 assists during the contest. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Forward Irakli Chlaidze (199-89) responded with 34 points (!!!) and the former international center Beka Bekauri (207-91) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds.
