Semi-Finals Game 2: Landes - Lattes Montp. 55-71

Lattes Montpellier upset Landes away from home to force the decisive third game in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Lattes Montpellier. Basket Landes was better in second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lattes Montpellier held Basket Landes to an opponent 21.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Lattes Montpellier players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Latvian forward Gunta Basko (181-80, college: Siena, agency: Josep and Nicolas) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Geraldine Robert (183-80) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Lattes Montpellier players scored in double figures. Lattes Montpellier's coach Valery Demory allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International forward Valeriane Ayayi (185-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Danielle Page (188-86, college: Nebraska) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Basket Landes.
