Petrochimi cruised past Mahram in the opener behind a terrific performance from Jonathan Gibson. The game was mostly controlled by Petrochimi. Mahram managed to win second period 12-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Petrochimi forced 23 Mahram turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 41 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Bosnian-Spanish center Nedzad Sinanovic (222-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. International center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 blocks and international forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) added 18 points in the effort for Mahram.
