Semi-Finals Game 3: Breogan - Burgos 58-80

Date: May 2, 2014
Burgos outgunned Breogan on the road to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Burgos. Leche Rio Breogan managed to win fourth quarter 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American-Cape Verdean point guard Jeffrey Xavier (187-85, college: Providence) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points. point guard Albert Sabat (182-85) helped adding 11 points and 5 assists. Four Burgos players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Dutch power forward Roeland Schaftenaar (211-88, college: Oregon St.) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Tyrus McGee (188-91, college: Iowa St.) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
