Osaka Evessa silenced Shiga L-Stars on the road to spur ahead in the quarterfinal series. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-54. Osaka Evessa forced 23 Shiga L-Stars turnovers. American swingman D'Andre Bell (198-87, college: Georgia Tech) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Serbian power forward Darko Cohadarevic (206-86, college: Texas Tech) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds. Osaka Evessa's coach Shunsuke Todo felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) added 14 points respectively for Shiga L-Stars in the defeat.
