Armia snatched a narrow road win over Rustavi to advance into the semifinal stage. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 23-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Armia had a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for the former international Zviad Babiashvili (200-78) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. International center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was naturalized Russian center Giorgi Kvelashvili (206-81) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Revaz Chachanidze (183-90) scored 27 points.
