Quarter-Finals Round 4: U.Mobitel.CN - CSU Sibiu 90-89 OT

U.Mobitelco edged CSU Sibiu in overtime to force the decisive fifth game in the series. The hosts trailed by 14 points after three quarters before their 25-11 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 1-point victory in overtime. U-Mobitelco looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when U-Mobitelco made 8 blocks. CSU Sibiu was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian forward Ivan Kuburovic (202-81) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Catalin Baciu (214-88, college: Clemson) who added 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Christopher Lee (206-84, college: S.Carolina St., agency: Duran International) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Brandon Johnson (185-86, college: ODU) scored 17 points and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
