Quarter-Finals Round 3: Bauru - Flamengo 73-92

Flamengo rolled past Bauru to gain the second straight victory in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Flamengo. Paschoalotto/Bauru was better in second period 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Paschoalotto/Bauru 44-29 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (202-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. American center Jerome Meyinsse (206-88, college: Virginia) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Flamengo players scored in double figures. point guard Ricardo Fischer (185-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists and the former international power forward Murilo Becker (210-83) added 12 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Paschoalotto/Bauru. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
