Semi-Finals Game 2: Tln Kalev - TU/Rock 52-72

TU/Rock fired past Tin Kalev on the road and grabbed 2-0 lead in the semifinal series. It looked good early as Tln Kalev took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then TU/Rock had a 20-6 second period charge getting the lead and Tln Kalev was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 52-72. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tln Kalev to just 6 points in second quarter. The former international guard Tanel Kurbas (197-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. International forward Timo Eichfuss (200-88) contributed with 9 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American forward Renato Lindmets (200-84, college: Westfield St.) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Tln Kalev. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
