Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked KAOD (13-13) beat on the road 10th ranked Aiolos Trikallon (9-17) 108-103 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Aiolos Trikallon won third quarter 32-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KAOD made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. KAOD outrebounded Aiolos Trikallon 38-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. Aiolos Trikallon was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Lazeric Jones (182-90, college: UCLA) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) during the contest. American forward Chris Evans (203-91, college: Kent St.) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and American-Jamaican power forward Patrick Ewing Jr. (203-84, college: Georgetown) scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. Five KAOD and four Aiolos Trikallon players scored in double figures. Aiolos Trikallon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KAOD moved-up to sixth place. Aiolos Trikallon lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost.
