Trefl Sopot defeated Energa Czarni at home court to ensure 2-0 lead in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Energa Czarni won third quarter 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trefl Sopot made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game. Energa Czarni was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Pawel Leonczyk (202-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). International swingman Adam Waczynski (199-89) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Derrick Zimmerman (187-81, college: Mississippi St.) replied with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import center Garrett Stutz (212-90, college: Wichita St.) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Energa Czarni. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
