Quarter-Finals Round 4: Sokhumi - Kutaisi 60-74

Kutaisi upset Sokhumi on the road and forced the decisive fifth game in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Kutaisi. Sokhumi managed to win second period 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kutaisi won last quarter 25-13. Kutaisi outrebounded Sokhumi 45-26 including 19 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Akaki Dvalishvili (206-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 19 rebounds and guard Levan Tsekvava (190-89) who added 16 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Irakli Chlaidze (199-89, agency: Global Sports Plaza) responded with 24 points and center Vakhtang Kadaria (205-89, college: Mineral Area CC) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds.
